MYA BEAUTIFUL RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK

rhodesian ridgeback mya Mya is our Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is the baby of the family. Mya is abit shy with strangers. She loves to run and play fetch. She is the only one of our dogs that will bring the toy back. We play fetch with a Kong shaped like a bone.

Mya almost choked to death on a ball that bounced from the ground into her mouth and went right down her throat. I was making every attempt to get the ball out, but Mya was fighting me because she was so scared. When she passed out, I put my hand, which was badly bitten, as far down her throat as I could get it and reached the ball with my fingertips. I pulled her up holding underneath her rib cage to get her to breathe again. Luckily she did. We don't play with balls anymore.

Mya is a beautiful red color with eyes to match. She medium sized and weighs about 90 lbs. She is a powerful dog who indures the heat and cold. When she wags her tail her whole body wags. Mya likes to take things from the counter top. She was pretty distructive when she was a puppy although she is getting better now.
