UNO THE #1 OF ALL OUR PUGS
Pugs are generally happy, fun loving dogs. Uno is our problem child. We got him from the breeder when he was 14 mos. old. The breeder requested that her dogs be returned to her if there was a problem. We were his third owners. Uno is now 8 years old. He has issues with most other dogs. He constantly growls and barks at them. All other dogs are a threat. Uno like his name wants to be the only dog in our home. He has dog social issues. When Uno is the only dog he is wonderful, obedient, happy. He dances around, sits, stays, down on request like a normal little dog. But, we have three other dogs and Uno is not happy about that and constantly lets us and our other dogs know it. With us humans Uno is loyal, wants to be near you, loving...then we have Cujo when our other dogs are near. Uno was bitten in the face by a rattlesnake recently and sustain some paralyasis. He is getting better every day. Hoped that his disposition would have changed a little. Oh well, we are very glad that he is still with us. He kind of reminds me of the movie grumpy old men.
