ENGLISH MASTIFF NAMED GEORGE
George is my english mastiff that is 2 1/2 yrs old and weighs 200 lbs. and is 35" to the shoulders. George thinks he is a Pug since he grew up with Pugs. He wants to sit on your lap, get in your face and drool all over you right after taking a drink of water. He shys away from our drool towels that we keep everywhere, but has no problem wiping his face on your clothes.
George was very ill with a bacterial infection in his lungs. We had our english mastiff on medication for over a year. We moved to away from the city off grid and George has not had medication since. He is healthy and runs and plays soccor with his Jolly Ball. I run George and his sister Mya on my quad. We take lots of water because George will hog it all. George is very overbearing and throws his weight around. He is pretty selfish and does not like to share toys. My other dogs have few toys because George eats them as soon as I bring them home. My other dogs cannot play with George's toys because they are too big.
George loves to sleep anywhere he does not fit. We had to take out our coffee table so that he could join us in the evening in the living room. Our mastiff will crowd in wherever he can squeeze.

George was bitten by a rattlesnake in September 2008. Because of his size he survived.
