DOGS NATURAL FLY REPELLENT
This dogs natural fly repellent is made with the leaves from any squash plant. The article that I read suggested Cocozelle.
Take 6 or 7 large leaves from a squash plant. Wash the dirt from the leaves. Liquify the leaves in a blender with two ounces of water.
Pour the liquid into a jar and put the pulp in a dish towel. Fold the towel and squeeze the remainder of the liquid into the jar.
Apply this dark green liquid twice a day. If you spray this on always be careful not to get it in their eyes. The flies will stop bothering your pet.
Animals can be eaten alive by flies. Flies can get in their ears and nose where you cannot see them. It is very difficult to clean them out. They can also bite leaving welts.
You may also try spraying around picnic areas, decks, porches and anywhere else flies are an issue.
