General appearance
Size: 50-70 lbs. 23 inches to the shoulders
Coat: hard, dense, wirey
Color: tan, sides and upper part darker
head: well balanced
Eyes: dark, small, full of expression and intelligence
Ears: V-shaped pointing down not toward eyes
Muzzle: long, flat narrowing slightly to the eyes
Tail: root of the tail should be well set on the back
